Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ultra Kazzaaaaah!!
You have my sympathies SB. I've had nearly four months of that. Only resolved by chopping holes in the side of my shoes!! Drastic but it works.

DNR - back's stuffed. :(

You've got my sympathies SB - my nemesis (blister on inside of right big toe) came back to poke fun at me today.
...........but, I think I've had the last laugh since I managed a new course today, 8.5 miles, without breaks - furthest I've run since Wokingham.

Pah to blisters........!

My feet have got so wet lately that I have had to start using my new trainers ahead of schedule. 8 miles done over 2 runs today, very nice.

Grim. Ran twice yesterday, 6 miles at lunch (inclucing a middle 5k in 21:51), 10 miles in evening and today's lunchtime 6 miler was a bit of a slog.

Staying in NYC with my sister and bro-in-law. On a beautiful sunny day, took a vry hilly run to a local track where I did 6 x 400. Went out faster than I intended on first 400, 1.12, so I had to back off a bit. Managed the following:
1.12, 1.16, 1.21, 1.24, 1.21, 1.18
