Excellent. Feeling a little stiff still after 9m race on Sunday and 9m run yesterday, but I dragged myself out of bed early (for me) to do a semi-speed session of 'tempovals' - a 5 mile run with miles 1,3 and 5 gentle (8:15 pace) and mile 2 and 4 tempo-ish (6:30 pace). Felt good.

Had a better 3.5 miles as far as breathing goes, but my back/bum was painful again. Can't win.

I was full of beans this morning - literally and had to do the unthinkable in a wood somewhere in deepest darkest Croydonshire.

Ultra Kazzaaaaah!!
Intervals and strides round cricket pitch. Really enjoyed it. So much better than last week's interval session. Really hot and sunny but wasn't too humid and quite stiff breeze which kept the worst of the heat off.

Was supposed top be doing a 10k run for the new club tonight, but injury put an end to that a few weeks ago. Rest day today. Hoping for a muddy run tomorrow
