Cold and windy - this is NOT the best weather to run in. 9 miles today was bad enough, bit if I've got to do 17 miles in those conditions tomorrow I won't be happy.

Dwi'n teimlo gwych!! Great run, time wise, today - almost 10mph for very hilly 3.6 miles around the village. So gratfiying to see progress since taking up running again last September. "Celebrated" with an Indian takeaway this evening.

Not bad weather here in the North West, overcast but still warm. Started early this morning at 6am. Ran 4 x 5.4mile loops total miles 21.6. First lap was difficult especially as a guy stopped me to ask directions, and i lost concentration. No other runners around this morning although i know LC was also on her long run somewhere in the vicinity. Next Sunday is the Birchwood 10k road race which i ran last year. Good race and the towels with the race logo are neat. In the morning 10.8 mles i hope!!!.

Weather shite here, both runs today however were brill. I really enjoyed them. Tried the 800m intervals - only five though. This morning I hadn't set the Garmin properly or owt so a bit of guesswork etc. Tonight I had set a workout up and it worked like a dream. I did 5 * 800M at 3.30 with 3.30 rest in between just jogging so i'm well chuffed

Same as Ian, great run in orrible weather. Probably cooled me down just enough to run it well. Managed to pace properly for the first time ever.

thanks John, knee is feeling just fine no niggles at all. i was told to avoid hills so we went down to coastline and ran along there (hubby was on bike, he has his own profiel now, bikeboy lol ) weather was perfect for running, v light breeze, not too warm, no blazing sun, lovely and the run along the coast is great
