My last few runs seem to have all been routine. Grey and dismal weather, so I don't feel invigorated by the sunshine, plus I've been feeling rather tired recently because of lack of sleep. 8.15 miles today in 1:10.
I'm trying to get a feeling for my stride length and cadence at the moment, so I've used a pedometer on my last two runs to count the steps over measured distances. It is interesting that my cadence seems to have been about 90 on both of those runs, which appears to be a good cadence. My stride length appears to be little over one metre, so I think I will need to improve this by making my legs stronger with more hill work and more speedwork.

Just been for my evening run 5 miler. Quite cold and dismal here to FR but enjoyed the steady run.
Riga, I'll be up early too for my morning run, thinking about it is actually worse than doing it I find and once I get out there and run it feels great. It's a lovely time of day and a nice start to the day I feel

Well it was OK but I'm getting a bit tired of OK runs. I want to feel great, top of the world, could run forever. I have this niggling feeling that basically I have no endurance and no matter how many miles I do, I will always steadily slow down until I'm virtually walking.

I'm feeling it Big Al. I always start with a spring in my step and then after 10 min it's all quite obvious that it's going to be hard work. On a happier note my cycling is improving I felt like I was flying last night it was like being 14 again and tearing around on my BMX

Hi Andrew. Did you run while on holiday, or was this the first run in a couple of weeks.
BTW, you've got a bit of catching up to do with the posting.
