Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I just used the cheapest caffeine drink from Tesco and drank it fizzy which, although it made me burp, didn't upset my stomach like I thought it might. I will try it again next week as I plan to go a bit further.

REALLY, REALLY good.

After running a mixture of slow recovery runs & quicker but still slow LSRs all week it was great to blow the cobwebs off my feet today with 2 tempo runs back to back.

5k on the Bushy Park route reversed at 85% WHR bringing me to the start line with about 7 minutes to spare then the same again but as part of the race. 2nd lap was much easier. Don't know if it was the atmosphere or just that my heart at settled at 177bpm.

I felt really strong - especially on the last km. This must be what negative splitting feels like (had I sped up).

Probably my best training run ever

After most of day spent running after kids, managed to persuade my wife, on her return, that I needed to go out for some peace and quiet! Had a cracking 4.25 round the hills surrounding our village - views of the sun setting over the Carneddau from the top were fantastic!
