Brrrrrr - it was cold. 14.6 miles at 70% - 75% WHR round Richmond Park
The internal furnace of mine usually takes 30 mins to warm my hands but it took almost an hour today. Elbows were stiff from the cold & legs were pink / blue / Daz ultra white.
Coped well on tired legs although it was hard to motivate. under 3 hours sleep last night so going back to bed now. . .

Ultra Kazzaaaaah!!
Given how my groin has been - a lot better than feared. 12.3 miles. Plenty of 'puff' but legs felt really quite dead (prob accounts for the number of stumbles!!). Groin a bit sore but not too bad. Almost wish I'd raced now but then again I'd have been pushing the pace and it could have been a whole different story

Fantastic! Saw loads of runners on the Mickleden Straddle coming the opposite way too. Well done anyone who did that today, it looks great fun but VERY tough and hilly. We enjoyed a lovey 10.5 miles in the sunshine. Still cold in the shade mind you

Tarange - Congrats!! Well done
Kieren - I was running around RP too but didn't see you. Started at 10.20 and did almost 3 laps. We must have both been going anticlockwise.
My run was my first 20 miler this year, and it was fantastic. Beautiful day in Richmond Park. Cold at first, but the sun came out for the last hour or so. We were going to do 3 laps (22m), but decided that was too big a step up at this stage, and the hills are pretty hard work, so stopped at 20m. It was 70% WHR run, and pace was 8:20, which is 90s per mile above marathon pace, so perfect. Rather amusingly, the guy I was with (doesn't know how to run slow yet - I'm trying to convince him!) was itching to go faster but I wouldn't let him! He is a bit faster than me, but he'll soon learn that 8 min/mile is plenty fast enough on a 20m run!
