Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

7.75 miles in the fog.Had a caffeine drink before I went and, it may have been psychological, but it seemed to have worked as I didn't feel wiped out like last week. HR was good for most of it too. I walked a bit on hills to keep it down and that worked too. :-)

Does anyone else do high dose caffeine before a run ? Just wondering whether to give it a go after reading RW.Not slapping a nicotine patch on though.

8 miles up in the Chiltern Woods near Chequers while it was still frosty. Beaut morning and the view from Coombe Hill was awesome. It felt like April though!

Running clubs annual awards tomorrow, so did my LSR today instead. Longest ever run 15.5 miles at 9.58 min miles which says 4.29.29 for the marathon, so really pleased with this. What does annoy me is the amount of broken glass on the pavements, mainly drinks bottles.

I find that caffeine helps. Unfortunately doesn't make me go any faster :) but I can usually go further, and feel great at the end.
