Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Got my run in tonight. 8.5m easy run at 70% ceiling. First time that this has been sub-8 min/mile this year. Partly as I'm getting fitter and partly as I am trying to get right up to the 70% level for most of the run, rather than plod along a few BPM below it. The weather was strangely good :-/

So a good day for fitness. Hour in the gym this morning doing strength stuff and over an hour running tonight :-)

Well, this morning's run was certainly different to last nights (see a few posts above)

The bad weather HAS ARRIVED! And some. The light rain wasn't the problem - the crazy, nuts, bonkers wind was though! I ran a couple of miles warm up then did 5 x hill reps on a 300m hill. HR averaged about 80% for the reps, but was almost 90% at the end of each one. I think I need to push harder. Would have done more, but was running late for work, so had to stop at 5 and plod home with a warm down. Total 5.4m, and I think I have earned myself a day off tomorrow, as my legs are feeling the effects of tempo run Tues, 8.5m last night, and hills this morning. :-)

Are you ok D/Mum? will call you lunchtime xxxxx
Did a VERY windy run this morning. VERY windy indeed. Cap sideways (not from some 'gangsta' stylee but from wind) and blown all over road.
