Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

A comparatively balmy 3 deg C at Crosby tonight. 10pm start: tour of Marina & docks, then N along the beach an hour after high tide. Doubled back by Devon Close, prom from baths: forced to detour over dunes by 4-5 ft tall sand banks. 64 min.

Not ideal. I think I underestimated the fatigue from Saturdays 10k race, so a threshold run today was v.hard work. I only did half.

I had a short run today into a steep-sided valley below my house. I didn't sleep properly last night, and it was about -4 so I didn't run mote than about 35 mins. Since I'm still in shorts, someone asked me if I had run out of my trousers. I don't know whether this was some kind of idiom or whether he meant it literally :)
