Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Short and slow rest day.
Garmin thinks I’m peaking, maybe I do :)

A rare morning outing - and I wish I'd left it 'til later. :( Last night's leg reps at the gym proved to be less than ideal as preparation. Plenty of folk - and dogs - on the beach & coastal park, all friendly or indifferent. Dry, 25mph WNW wind limbering up for Dudley's arrival. A sluggish 61 min.

11 km mixed trails and streets. We have a calm, sunny day here, for now. Overnight there was a fresh sprinkling of snow but it has turned plus again. I had trouble with my Garmin following a course in the reverse direction: it didn't follow the roads and paths but rather was a series of straight lines, so I missed one or two fp jewels.

Slow 21 miles, half of it coming back against the wind again. Felt better than my last long run, and I feel more confident about actually completing 26.2 miles now

Breezy. Better coming back than going out.

My breathing is still not right after Covid and I know I will struggle in this wind so it’s probably not worth it. Might just start off walking and see how it goes.
