Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Looks nice Steve!

I also, again, have winter conditions.
So I did a medium long trail run at very low HR today. Very pleasant in the snow and sun.

Got out this afternoon after missing parkrun this morning. Lovely conditions after the last few days, sunny and not too windy. As usual I had too many layers - I never learn.

Great running everyone.

Hadn't been out all week so could have done with a long one but had a lot to do this morning so settled for a faster paced 10k.

Impressed by how runners laugh in the face of adverse conditions :)

9pm Decided on an hour, rather than half, to bank miles before Storm Franklin rolls in tomorrow. Lake trails were sodden; tide way out, an hour after slack water; shower laden clouds masking the moon. Light SSE breeze 8mph.

I kinda was a little low on mileage until Friday so I made a plan. Plan your work and work your plan. :)
Today was a longish trail/gravel run with som pace and course direction help from Garmin which was really nice. And the weekly mileage was sorted.

Nice running people!

About 16 km today, mostly trails, some technical. Overnight it dropped a deal below zero, but warmed to a couple of + today, again in brilliant sun to start. Took me about 2:10. Can't work out why I get tired, but I suppose there must be something to the age thing. Glad to have completed the week's goal at 94 km.

Nice weekly mileage Steve!
Maybe it’s not really the age, but some mileage in your legs :)

I did a club run along the beach then onto trails. 40mph winds today so it has calmed down a bit :)
It was hard going, and I definitely felt in my legs that I hadnt fully recovered from my long run earlier in the week, but still did the 15 miles and was quite please I did.
I will have a cut back week this week after 7 consecutive 50 mile weeks
