Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Semi-dodgy run this morning. Felt a bit leaden-legged. Picked my favourite route to get me moving, but only semi-managed it. No other runners or cyclists. No wildlife except for the odd rabbit. Felt like the twilight zone.

Nice one Lums. I know the feeling. I struggle like hell to get out running I make up all kinds of excuses to myself as to why i shouldn't go. However once your out there and doing it it's all worth while.

Hello - back from holiday with a week off running after hurting my back. Did a 5k run Sunday morning to get going again and felt ok, so did a quick 1.5 miler this morning as fast as I could and enjoyed bursting lungs! Good to be back.

Arrrgh, what is wrong with me?

I feel like I haven't run for ages, but in truth, I ran Weds, Thurs (2), Fri, Sun and last night? I really wanted to go this morning but when alarm went off, I just didn't go. Went back to sleep. Boy was up a few times in the night so I was tired. Busy at work, as well so won't go in the evenings, and away at the weekend so want to do my LSR on Saturday, I'm going to put this down as a bad week and get going next week I think.

It's weird, as last nights run was great.

Tough run but short; first mile straight up steep rough path, then 'undulating' mile on very minor road - had to keep leaping into hedge as drivers had all had their brains removed, last mile straight down steep rough path - in fact, mile one in reverse..... Was trying to rain but soooo enjoyable.

If only we could bottle the feeling you get when having a good run and then sniff it on those days when we have a problem convincing ourselves to put trainers on and get on with it.

Real fun - tested out my leg of Sunday's Round Leicester Relay. It was real xc, all uphill, wet, muddy and great!

Ooh Round Leicester Relay, sounds a lot nicer than the Round Norfolk Relay, will you get chased by pitchfork weilding locals with questionable lineage like we will?

Good run today. Times a lot quicker now the temperature has dropped.

Passed my total mileage for last year as well, Brucie bonus!
