Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

How was your run today?

I do, I do, I DO. I love running in the heat. I prefer it to be a bit cooler when racing though. I also love running up steep hills, but prefer flatter courses for racing.

Heat and hills are my excuses for running slower :-)

Been cycling in to & from work (15-mile roundtrip) last few weeks & been too knackered to come home & go for a run.

Did so this evening, 10-minute turn-around and out again for 10km which went a lot better than I expected, ran it in 48mins and felt ok. Very pleased so will try get back into the running again, been having a bit of a break.

I love hills too FR & trail running. Luckily the local estate has some fab hilly trail runs so I leave the kids at the adventure playground, beg them not injure each other by shoving someone off the highest slide & take off for half an hour. Not so great in the heat though, struggled the couple of times I ran in France but it WAS horribly hot. Needless to say I'm now constantly FREEZING!!!!!
