Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

7 miles on dewy trails and a huge expanse of beach, where the high tide had swept away the detritus, leaving pools and rivulets to negotiate. Best part: meeting five Irish Wolfhounds back from their walk and trying to cram themselves into a Suzuki jeep! :)

Interval training this morning on the track. Although hard work, it was really enjoyable.

First post - hello everyone!

I ran in the Big Fun Run at Roundhay Park this morning. Gorgeous scenery, the hills killed me though as it's flat in York!

Hi Craftyfish and Welcome,

I ran 20miles (32.62km to be precise) which is my biggest run ever and the longest till the Loch Ness Marathon in 5 weeks. I felt great! After a 30k run from hell last weekend, this was wonderful and really got my confidence up. I even ran it 3 minutes faster than I hobbled the 30k last weekend.

It was foggy first thing which was fab as I couldn't see the big hill at the beginning very well so I was at the top before I had time to think about it.

THANK YOU IMODIUM!

Ran a beautiful half marathon, matched my PB but am pleased as this was a hilly route for me, the race director said it was flat from 4 to 12 miles - if this is what he calls flat I wonder what he thinks is hilly? But a lovely race along the country lanes of Wiltshire.
