Keefy Beefy
First attempt at a continuous tempo run the way Hal Higdon descibes it. Have always done tempo intervals before. Just did 25 mins because of recent leg troubles. Went ok but the gradual build up to a certain pace is a bit tricky to judge. Still, I want to have the technique down before I begin the Paris plan in January.

Yes Keefy, me too, I'd like to do the tempo run better. I always seem to start off too fast and wear myself out just in time for a bliddy great hill or two!

Easy 3 miler this evening. Bit boring as it's just my standard loop on the roads. LSR coming up in the morning.

Long run day (yes, 6 miles is long for me!). Really great run. Very hard work due to the supersized hill but good all the same

simply awesome. At the in-laws who are very supportive, and didn't bat an eyye when I declared I was going out for a half-marathon. Was quite apprehensive as haven't done the distance for 2 months, but it just flew by. Lots of medium hills and the last 6 miles were into a headwind, and climbing - but finished in 1:48:00 !! Just under 10 mins UNDER myhalf PB. Been on a high all day, hardest course I have run and i loved it. Cannot wait for mara training at the moment.
