Ten glorious miles around Derwent reservoir in Derbyshire. The beauty of the place in the sunshine today has to be seen to be believed. I managed 9:43m/m average at 127 BPM. Loved it! Heidi really enjoyed it too and came in a few minutes behind me because she was slower but also kept stopping to take pictures. Ok, so these were taken with a cheap phone camera point and click but you still get an idea of what a lovely morning it was up there. flickr.com |

Doesn't this glorious weather make running really fun?? Did my first proper outside run in about 3 weeks. Nice slow 9 miles around Wandsworth Common, Battersea Park and Clapham Common. The sun and autumn colours are awesome ![]() CB - my parents live next to Chobham Common. I really must gert out there running as there are some great hills and not a car in site! |

Cheers Keefy, it was great to be there, you'd have loved it! No matter how many times I run up there I never tire of the beauty of the place. |

It's great to do a run for the hell of it rather than as part of a training programme. Great new pics, by the way ![]() |

Really enjoyble run today, through Betws-y-Coed, Capel Curig, past Llyn Brenig upto the Pen-y-Gwryd Hotel at the foot of the Llanberis Pass. Very scenic, which I take for granted driving about Snowdonia, but can appreciate more when running through the Park - autumnal colours in the forrest areas and snow on the top of Snowdon and the hills around. |

Slow 4 miles in 42 minutes on my own after 4 days at Grislyland Paris just walking and eating (rather badly!). Achilles is still letting me know it's there, but feels miles better.
