I didn't bleed copiously from my conk the moment I exerted myself. Which is a good thing. I also saw a lovely friendly runner with a huge grin. He said hello. You could just see he enjoyed being out. It made me smile all the way home.

A glorious, sunny 18 miles this evening - last 4 miles were between 30-60 secs faster than PMP. Could have carried on for more miles.

Brilliant running Toks - I've done 5 with my running buddy this morning at a nice steady pace - 54 mins, and we chatted all the way!

Out just after 6am for 8.30ish miles / 1hr. Slightly cooler although still sweating a lot in my new Asics short sleeved top 6 other runners out, most of whom ignored me. 27 miles done so far and will hit 50+ miles this week. Working both days at the weekend so no longer runs unless I get up at 2:30am.
Went for a swim afterwards for nearly an hour - well, half of it was stuck behind someone going so slow (and I'm not fast) that if they just floated, they'd be faster.
