Tonights run was cracking, with the club, round the Caradoc. Really enjoyable.

Fab - 3.25 mile club handicap race - really pleased as slightly quicker than last year and after only 3 weeks back from 9 weeks out with injury. although I have to say I have never been so wet on a run - I didnt think it possible to get as wet as I got tonight!

A not-very-nice 3.6m with intervals - wet, too warm and too early in the morning

6m easy early this morning: badly hung over. Not fun, but felt better towards the end of it.

Wierd. First mile ultra slow due to the 'set aside' at the edge of the fields being so overgrown. loads of crops have been laid flat by the rain, coverinig the normally good footpaths across the fields, and a couple of farmers have just not bothered to put the footpath through, so it was a bit of a run through quite high crops in places. I startled an owl which flew away from me, only to be mobbed by lots of smaller birds, so then it flew straight back towards me, I ducked. Got chased by cattle across one field. Then through one of the farms the dog came out to have a go at me. Almost eventful.
