Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Hohum - that sounds like quite a scary run to me - I'm not an animal lover at the best of times!

I like animals, just not when out running alone. Then I get wary, borderline scared...

Run today was good. Short and sharp to get me back into the swing of things before my next HM training plan starts up next week.

Went out this evening for just over 8.5 miles. Quite warm and sweating like a pig. Couple of minutes faster than usual though.
Made one girl scream by running along side her unexpectedly (3 girls in a line and I took the opportunity to run through the small gap they left between the pavement and road).
Few runners out, all of whom were bloody ignorant.

Very pleasant. 4m in the sun, exploring a new route and not getting lost!

I thought the owl bit was wierd.

Any way today's run was truely cracking. A bit of a recce between two points, and to get some miles in my legs. Started with quite a steady climb, going up quite high to some amazing views across a few counties. Quite a few cattle about, but none interested in me today - which was nice. Desppite a slow pace early on the last few miles (mostly descending) were quite quick and actually did not too unrespecable pace for me. Not many people about either :-)

Usual 8.xx miles. 2 female runners actually acknowledged me as well for a change :)

Working tomorrow morning so unless I get up at 2:30am, not going to be able to get a nice longish run in before breakfast / my 5-6am start.

35 miles for the week so ok. Did want to get around 50 but I'll have a stab at that next week.
