Then I raced at the weekend and remembered I love running and I can actually run reasonably fast. And tonight I nailed the tempo run and ran home head held high and grinning.:-)

I literally fell through the front door, and the sun came back out! Great fun though, especially seeing the looks I was getting from people sheltering in various doorways.
