Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Oh, just a warm up on the tready before the silliness of a plyometrics session. It was all strangely calm and slow.

Well done Toks!

I ran to work, worked, then ran home again. Anyone know what kind of benefits there are (if any) of running twice in a day? It was 8 miles in total - 3.5 there and 4.5 home.

todays run, involved me actually doing some real traiining and trying to put a bit of pace into it. So I upped the HR and went for it, fairly flat and comparatively flat on trails and canal paths, to crack out 8.06 min/m, which is better than my recent averages by about 1 1/2 min. quite a few differences in routes though, today few gates, hard ground, no real hills. Nice :-)

First interval session in ages, my parkrun speed has deteriorated so much it's about time I started doing some fast(ish) running again! Only 3 x 800m with 400m recovery (during a 5 mile run) but it's a start :)

Cold and rainy though. I wished I had my gloves on.
