Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Two runs, both good, in some lovely "proper" winter weather :-). parkrun, big course best, and then a recovery run around home later. More :-)

Pants!! Well actually it was lovely until my stupid ITB decided to play silly buggers again. It was niggling last week but back to unrunnable today. I despair. I was out for 18 months last time :(

Nearly 8 miles, which is the longest run for some time. Calf was sore for a while, but not as severe as the Monday runs. Nice day.

Miss Lippy: swearing to oneself always helps! If you use lots of different swear words, you can try and count how many you've used, that takes your mind off it even more :)
Lovely, but cold 11 miles. At about 7 miles I was feeling amazing, in that lovely zone where everything is flowing smoothly and you feel like a 'real' runner! Then I took ds2 out for a bit with me and everything went downhill. Not as in we went down hills, just he kept stopping and getting a stitch and running too fast, rubbish.
