Painful. Black ice is a nightmare! I managed to slip on an isolated patch while out running and fell flat on my back. It smarts a bit.

Amazing run today. A group of us set of to do trail run under the full moon at 7:30am this morning. Huge moon and then amazing sunrise as we set off. Very cold and sunny but was amazing runnign through the cool, crisp forest. Even saw two deer as they leapt across the path in front of us. Then to the local cafe for tea and toaster teacakes for what must be the best price around - 70p! As Greg on Masterchef would say - running doesn't get any better than this!

Went out for a second run of 5 miles in the dark on a cycle path. Blew up after 3 miles and struggled home. Happy though.

AMAZING! Ankle-wrenching, finger-freezing, face-chillingly fab! Can't believe it took me 3 years to discover the NDW!
