Met another fell runner, quick chat, (the only other person I saw). Ground conditions were a bit odd, snow, ice, mud. Walshs definitely the right choice of footwear. The bigger of the two dogs came with me, she was off the lead all the way round, not phased by farm dogs or sheep, which was good.
