Can we have a drop-down box for long slow hilly jog please ? 6 miles into the hills, got bitten by a dog after 3 miles, washed the blood off, debated about whether to go and give the dog/farmer a good shoeing but decided aginst it as there were more dogs in the farmyard, ran rest of the loop seething and cursing all canines, phoned docs to see if tetanus jab required, relieved that the nice lady said not. Had a cup of coffee,3 slices of seeded toast (yum) and calmed down.

Great run today. Saw a client about a mile from the top of Llanberis pass, so parked by the start of the Snowdonia Marathon and ran to the top of the Llanberis Pass and back again. Enjoyed the climb up (despite the rain and the headwind!) probably more than the descent back down.

John-I am sooo jealous. I loved running in Snowdonia in the summer. I did 4.5 miles along the prom, and although it's not as scenic as John's run, it was ok and I thoroughly enjoyed it insipte of being soaked to the skin.HR was rubbish though.

It was tough today. It's the fastest I've run since my comeback 4 weeks ago, and it hurt. The lungs were seriously burning.
It felt good to run anaerobically rather than the easy stuff I've been doing for the last month. HR avg was 81% of max.
