I struggled today but managed 10 miles and did some proper nasty hills - maybe not as nasty as Cragg Road which sounds hideously fun!! My nastiest was Long Lane in Killamarsh, a real beast. Top banana running.

Pootle
An 11 mile struggle in the wind that included being chased 1/4 of a mile by a pack of dogs at one point, and then a couple of miles later I decided to throw myself in the road narrowly missing a moving car

And in doing so have managed to rip all my lovely new Christmas kit to smithereens.

Know the feeling Pootle. 16m for me, partly because I struggled to remember the way. Lots of psycho-dogs and would be F1-winning fiesta drivers, plus a major case of jogger's nipple (see blog). Oh well "That which does not kill us will make us stronger"

Friday - no internet access, so belatedly: Hilly 5.6 miles. 1 mile downhill, dropping 300 feet. 1.8 mile uphill, rising 500 feet. Then turned round and did same in reverse. Hard work for the uphill mile. Mostly misty, but brilliant views where it was clear

Sat morning into heavy head winds [with an *evil* hill to start - well it felt evil] and very very wet as in I actually rang out *all* my running gear [trainers are still making a puddle in the hall] -still felt fab afterwards for braving the elements and not giving into my innerwimp! was supposed to be a 5 mile easy too [well it was 6.5 miles a bit tough at times ]
-pootle I can idetnitfy with the dogs I got attacked umpteen times during yesterdays session through the woods, clearly I am some kind og dog magnet! Dvorak, treadmill would have been a sensible choice I feel, my trainers certainly think so!
