Aaaw, poor Poots X
Mine was very short - half a mile to the gym, and the same back again after my spinning class.

Pootle Mine was really good- done with HRM and felt strong at the end despite wind and gradient. Quite an unusual run for me, that.

Pootle
The dogs were bloody horrible. We were running past a farm on the other side of the road, and 4 of them came rushing out of the gate just as we got past, woofing and jumping up and down towards us. I legged it (hey, I guess I got some speed work out of it!) leaving my running buddy just behind me (sorry Paul :-/ ).
Fortunatly for me they seemed a lot more interested in him, maybe because he was in shorts? The three large dogs got bored quicker than this yappy fucking little white thing that kept nipping at our ankles until a car came round the corner, then it was trying to weave in and out of the wheels of the car whilst still chasing us (running buddy shouted at the woman driver to run it over. Wish she bloody had have). After the car incident the dog started running back to the farm and we turned around to see the farmer standing in the road, I guess wondering wtf his dogs had all gone. He did yell sorry after us, but it was a bit late for that. My mate aimed a few choice words at him and told him if they are uncontrolable like that (by a main road too) they should be kept tied up.
I half expect to get chased by dogs in the woods, but not a pack of the bloody things and not whilst I am running along a fairly main road.
