Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I ran this morning, at about 11am, in Adidas Kanadia. It was fine, not slippy at all even where people had walked in the snow. To be honest though, I stopped loads to take pictures and only managed 3 miles (it started to snow hard and I didn't want to get lost in the woods!) so it probably doesn't could as a proper run!

Just saw you were a serpie & thought that Binks had maybe brought you down to Gatliff with the other 25 serpies. Or road shoes as long as the trails aren't too savage you'll be ok.

I did 5 miles today in my road shoes; it was fine but think tomorrow with try off-road shoes. It was easier running on the snow covered parts of road rather that clear. But it's not very icy here

It's right behind my house, I've always known the woods were there but for some reason convinced myself I didn't like xc even though I'd never tried it! I only started running there a month ago, it is beutiful whether there is snow or not :-)

What Loubear said about photos :)

Welcome to Fetch, Loubear - what's the subject of your research?

0645 Lethally icy on side roads, so on with the Felldancers & head torch for lap after lap of the large fields in Vic Park. Eerily quiet except for a train every 15 minutes. About 4 miles and quite fun too :)
