cancelled due to snow was supposed to do a pootle after work with my collegue but the snow has got worse particularly where she lives so she wisely took off at the earliest opportunity. I'm getting al lift but we're working late (honest!) so no miles today for me
well done those who got out. I'll maybe get on the stepper for 1/2 hour when I get in.

Strange how my road was dangerously slushy, yet a quarter of a mile away, Waterloo promenade was ideal for running 4.5 miles on prom & beach at 0645

7.2 miles on fresh snow this morning. 4.2 miles on the old club XC route that was a mixture of crisp snow and compacted snow. Only ended up on my arse, with a big grin on my face, twice:)

I was so happy, I went on a short run and managed to overtake a tall, athletic looking man, which has never, ever happened to me before!! I didn't really want to as I was sure he'd catch up soon enough but he was going much slower and I had to! I'm sure he was just on a recovery jog or something but hey I still felt well chuffed when I got home, I've never been much of a speed demon!

Nice and easy. Physio said 2-3 no more. I think it would have been zero if she had known what I ran in!
As long as you were chuffed and not chaffed!!
