I am unbelievably chuffed with myself...:)
I did 20 miles today in preparation for the Edinburgh mara. I've never been further than 14 before. I felt okay at the end too. Glad to finish, but okay!

Bright and breezy, 8 miles along the foreshore with 4 dogs, ... result....4 soaking wet dogs and a runner with very wet cold legs. AHHH the bliss of peace and quiet for at least an hour.

Wet and very windy but i enjoyed it because it was the first run i've done since Draycote without the pain in my foot.

Up at 5:50 and did an hour on the treadmill this morning at relatively low speed of between 5 and 5:24 minute kms, didn't feel great but sometimes it can be a good mental battle to focus on the running even when it doesn't feel the best.

Rather windy, then again runing around a Broad was always likely to be today. Then again I needed to stick to somewhere flat and as even underfoot as possible.

A non scheduled run down to the station to renew my oyster travel card and the damned counter was shut.....still it was an easy 3 miles.
