Exactly why I pulled up and walked back BS. Walk was good though and thigh stiff but certinly not sore, some stretching will be done for a couple of days, and all will be well. Like you, I really really did not feel like running today. I had just been to see my best friends baby who was born yesterday I wanted cuddles all day!

Hard, I ate burger and chips for lunch, ate and drank too much last night, vistors and rugby, know what I mean. So I punished myself this afternoon, but I feel better for it now.

13.5 mile LSR in 2h14 mins. Had to stop 3 or 4 times to stretch as the muscles around my shins were killing me.
I was hungover so fairly pleased. State of mind awful due to Wales abysmal RWC exit.
The main thing was that my foot was not a problem for the first time in months thanks to new physios temporary orthotic support. I still want to kill my previous physio for robbing me of £300 and two months training.
Nice to do 13+ miles two weeks before my first ever half marathon in Cardiff!

Lovely, I did just over 12 miles including a lap of Richmond Park where I saw 5 runners I know, and about 5 bazillion runners I don't know!

Nice run this morning for me, 9.27 miles (specific much?) - in a time which makes me think my goal at the Cabbage Patch 10 in a couple of weeks is actually achieveable. I was scared about the CP10 until today - now I'm no longer scared, just a bit fluttery in the tummy. My scared-ness has now been transferred to the Bedford Half Marathon instead...and rightly so.
Saw lots of people I know (Kirsty, Kath, met MissingPhoenix, couple of people from my clubs, my physio!!) - but did wonder:
1) why did some people have sooo many clothes on, it wasn't cold! 2) why some runners don't keep left like all the rest of us do? Makes it tricky for the bikes as they come flying past...
Mrs F xx (not sure she likes running with music...made her LSR not quite so S!!)
