Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

My LSR didn't happen over the weekend and frustratingly could not happen again last night so I thought better make it happen, so got up at 5 a.m. and went straight out armed only with my Garmin, a cereal bar, lucozade sport and some wine gums. Lovely run in the dark then watching everything start to light up. Chose an undulating course which was a bit of a tester but did the 16 miles in 2:13 which is just a shade faster than 8:30mm.

Happy, no flare up of the calf injury, roll on Brussels on Oct 14th.

Once again, short but sweet. 4 miles, trying to take it very easy. Sun, bit of music, and christened my new Fetch shirt because I didn't get a chance at the weekend. Not sure if people were looking at me oddly because of the shirt or because I was singing :-)

LOL Mrs Rattie. I felt like sing "Oh what a beautiful moooooorrrning", it was glorious out there today, the mist was rising from the river, the swans were just waking up, drivers were stopping for me so I could cross the road ahead of them. Perfick!

yesterdays run - nice but my foot hurt. I walked for a bt then started again once the endorphines kicked in. Why did I bother taking 7 weeks off running, spend £180 on physuio and £60 on new running shoes?

Demorialising - and I have become an injury bore - sorry.

Club run last night...didn't get exact time or distance as forgot to charge my Garmin and the battery went flat :-( That said, the run felt good and I seemed to run at a quicker pace without it.

Ran about 4.5-5 miles and I was out for a little over 37 minutes. Felt really good, lots of pre/post run stretching of my glutes and the hip held up well.

If the hip is still feeling ok tonight I may just go for a cheeky little 10K run on it... :-)

Hard after too many pints last night, although it doesn´t get much better than running next to the beach in Barcelona.

I had a good first tempo run since coming back off injury. Weather was nice and crisp with atmospheric fog hanging over the funfair and I almost ran straight into a fox! Saw Streatham Stroller on his 15 miler too.
