Well, the 50 miler I haven't trained for is this Saturday.

I'll have limited wifi/signal/phone battery, so wish me luck!

I actually feel fairly calm.
Flapping more about getting there in an old shed of a van, finding something to eat, have I packed the right clothing options etc etc.

The 50 miles is the easy bit!

Just taping up my map sheets now.

For those doing a spring marathon... How has your training REALLY gone?

I follow lots of other runners on Instagram. Yesterday it felt like all of their posts were about their wonderful 18 milers. Congrats to them if they did that and I'm genuinely happy for them.

We all know social media can sometimes paint a fake picture of life though and sometimes other things get in the way of training. So let's consider this a safe space and keeping it real thread - how has your training ...
