Looking forward to another reason for random route plotting. I am a bit worried that, what with me being surrounded by inaccessible countryside for quite a lot of what would be my 10x10 grid, that it will still put me at as much of a disadvantage as I have in Fetchpoint.
I will still no doubt play regardless

It sounds fab and I always love any/all encouragement to get off my backside and explore new places.
The one potential pitfall is that I live on the coast so, if I use my actual home as 'home' a lot of my 10x10mile grid will be in the sea. What I do for Fetchpoint is set my 'home' slightly inland so that all the grid is on dry land, which works well, but I am not sure how that will work if a lot of the grid is going to be dark to start with or if key things will be in the centre working outwards - because my Fetchworld 'home' will be 10 miles away from my actual home. (I really hope that makes sense!! )

Sounds like lots of us have nerves about inaccessible (to us) areas. It's going to be something new so I'll look forward to having a look to see if it works for me.

Perhaps for those of us who live near the sea the grid could be adjusted to have one edge aligned to the coast to still give us 10x10 to search?

Will we still be able to move our grid whenever we want like in fetchpoint?

A potential inventory item is the bread bag of the Sorcerer Supreme. With it, you leave a trail of bread crumbs behind you, and at the end of your activity all closed loops in your route are accessed. There are only so many breadcrumbs in it at any one time. There could be a duck of immense hungriness.

I love the sound of this new game! I kind of fell out of love with fetchpoint after a while!
