Got a pb for my local Beeston parkrun, 21.12 and WAVA 79.12%. To make it more interesting the benchmark told me that i had done 5k in 20.49 with a WAVA of 80.23%, and that i had run 3.16 miles.
A moral victory i think.

Definitely a moral victory, Chrisity. Nice running!

Disappointed with my time today. It was one of my slowest this indoors season so - at the same venue a fortnight ago I got my highest ever - 86.46, but today I was more than a tenth (of a second) slower and could only manages 85.35. Bah! Why couldn't it go the other way? NOT a good start and also think I'm tired.

I've only got one more chance at the 60m this year. It really is my best event WAVA wise - I'm targetting 82-3 on the 100 and will be lucky to get 80 on 200m.

Tiny bit better tonight with my final Indoors race - 85.82. I'm tired. And a bit sad I have no more chances with my 'best' distance.

Back to the drawing board and the hard work 'til the outdoor season starts late April.

57.5 Degrees of Pain
Sneaked an 80 WAVA in my first 10k since August. A particularly good effort in a strong wind with a hangover! The race was at 2.30 which helped, but I still feel rough.

I was planning an 80% half marathon attempt at Big Half next weekend but have tweaked hamstring quite badly swerving to avoid a dog loose of its lead that was running at me. Have rested since I did it on Tuesday & hoping that with an enforced rest until next Sunday I should still be able to run but fear the 1:34 required will be a bit of a big ask. I did a really easy effort 1:36:30 in January & training had been going well so I'm gutted about the injury.

Well done 57.5 DoP - fantastic result especially given weather & a hangover!

57.5 Degrees of Pain
Thanks Jovi, hope you get to give it a go. I will be trying for another 80 at next week's half, and normally 10k and half are my strongest distances. Sub 1.26 is sounding tough though after some substandard training.

57.5 Degrees of Pain
Another wild day for the Inverness Half (with driving sleet to add to the fun), but no hangover. And sneaked another 80 WAVA to claim a Gold Fetch Race Standard. That is probably the limit of my running ambition at the moment!
