Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

That's the same day as my alleged next race (Beachy Marathon) with which I started this thread...

Yeah Beachy probably won’t happen. The adventure races might do though! Probably not the first but maybe the second two? There is very little contact between people and they could stagger the start easily. Cross fingers!

Found out today my run/yoga retreat is currently still going ahead but waiting info any updates to say otherwise. Been doing to do it 3 years but kept missing out on a place (only 6-8 places) over the moon to make it this year. Next year is already sold out so be 2022 at this rate. Sigh.

My October marathon was due to be in Chelmsford but that got cancelled when the spring races got moved. It's a bit worrying that Dublin has gone already as it may give a precedent. All the majors look like they're still going ahead so that's a good sign.

I’d like to think that Kenilworth Half might go ahead in September but if not I might look at the Coventry Half Marathon in November.

Sprints are in lanes so I think my Indoors will probably be ok next winter back at Lee Valley.

INDOORS?

About This Thread

Maintained by McGoohan
Mine is supposedly Beachy Head marathon in 159 days, having removed everything else from my race portfolio. I don't know at this stage whether it will go ahead or not.

But what do you reckon will be the first UK-based running event to actually happen?
