If folk don’t want to volunteer and can’t be encouraged to by prompts during the pre-run briefing and socials, I don’t know that warm woolly messages or sharp sticks from HQ would make any difference. I base my view on my nearest three parkruns where there is very rarely any problem with getting enough volunteers. But this is probably more of a topic for the other parkrun thread. |

It seems parkrun are using my photo on their website. I volunteered one day when brooks were there and there was a photo taken. Now on parkrun from page. Almost a season best today, amazing what the loss of a few pounds does. Need to train better now as well. |
