Sydney Runner Nov 2019 8:13pm, 30 Nov 2019 115 posts	Sydney Runner Snakes! You should have gone to Cottesloe down the road-only escaped convicts to worry about. Mudjimba beach looks nice-but it’s too far away from Noosa by taxi. Will be doing Noosa at the end of December-it’s shady but feels like the jungle. They were very friendly there and gave out ice pops at the end last time I visited.

Totriornottotri May 2020 4:08pm, 13 May 2020 357 posts	Totriornottotri I used to do Bibra Lake in WA. Lots of tigers there! Saw a Dugite once. Did Cottesloe a few times, but never made it to Rocky. I think I must have done the Albert Park one in Melbourne. Didn't know the name off the top of my head. Forgot I managed to do Newcastle parkrun - sub 20 there a minute ahead of my boss! I also did the Lawson one heading into the Blue Mountains. That was probably my favourite but the course was a bit contrived.

LBAC Si Jun 2024 2:10pm, 13 Jun 2024 2 posts	LBAC Si Did Gold Coast Main Beach, Albert Pk Melbourne, & Perth WA Uni last summer. Typically got all the V50 records and then we all now what happened. Waste of money
Rob-C May 2025 10:13am, 23 May 2025 6 posts	Rob-C Zillmere parkrun in Brisbane is magnificent. A flat two laps entirely on springy grass (great for cushioning the knees). Small, friendly group of volunteers and runners who were very welcoming to the handful of tourists. It had some resemblance to South Oxhey parkrun (near London), only more scenic. Hope I can go back one day.
