That's very sad, Jef. My condolences to all who knew him. No parkrun for me tomorrow as my choir is singing at Cheltenham races and we have to be there for 9am. I think that's a poor show

Thanks everyone. As sad as the day was I think Lorna would have been happy but embarrassed with the outpouring of love for her as we said our goodbyes far too early for someone so young. |

Good run at Exmouth today. Actually enjoyed running into the wind for once, I found it too hot the other way! Went to sprint for the line and wished I hadn't, had I not overtaken someone I would have got one of the few I have left on position bingo! There's a lesson there |

Update from Teignmouth today There were shenanigans in the funnel with some of our younger runners crossing between the timekeepers twice and then not taking a token on the second time, or ducking out of the funnel before the tokens. Please understand this can mess up everyone's times. On behalf of the funnel manager we ask that if you cross between the timekeepers (no matter how young you are) that you take a token or get one put in the bucket. This is particularly important to our funnel manager because if it happens 5 times in one event, they get thrown in the sea! |

Beeston parkrun has a new course. Due to problems with the cars entering and leaving the car park going through the runners, which closed us for four weeks, we now have a different course. Still got the same loop but the start and finish sections have been changed. fetcheveryone.com/t-21235429 |
