Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Munnki, the road club I am a member of recruited me for x-country, but I can never make the dates... and they don't do anything else but run on the roads of Hereford, which does not interest me. I am therefore changing to another road club that actually has proper trainers and does hill and speed sessions on a Tuesday night, a night I can catually make. I will obviousy stay a member of my fell club, but I can't make their training sessions on the Wednesday, as I teach yoga on Weds... but I do feel the need for some structured stuff... I never do it on my own, find it really hard, so am trying out this other club :-)

LOL bigmunnki. liking the idea that it's 3 laps of anywhere, even if it's tesco's car park. Gobi - yeah, I got that (tho many hundreds of places further down than you) in the East District league one a couple weeks back. But the other way round 1min 30 s faster but not much higher up the rankings. That is either a. it was a shorter/easier course or b. a higher standard field and yes I am improving. Needless to say I'm going with b!

Ellem and Mr Ellem were taking photos at today's one. Look forward to seeing the pics (not!)

Looks like I am on my own at x-mas and NY, unless I decide to go to India again... or alternatively, I could spend a week in the Lakes, recce-ing :-)

This is me at XC today. I'm going to have the publishers of FHM knocking the door down after seeing me running up this hill.
