Missed the announcement that they'd had to shorten the course by about a mile, so that was a nice surprise (4.6ish miles)! Officially retired from XC after 22/23 season, but missed the camaraderie and mud, so I'm back 😂😂

It was the ankle it’s injured a couple of months ago at kids sports day when I hit a (very small) hurdle. Briefly tried to run it off, but it was soon apparent that wasn’t going to work, so a DNF.
