Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

How curious! Well the course was well marshalled yesterday and I'm glad the forecast I saw on Friday didn't come true...ie rain all day...was beautiful day all day instead.

Although I can't find anything on the HSE website; I wonder if eightlane are going to publish the report they've "seen"?

I'm hoping my hard had and high viz jacket is supplied in time for Sunday's XC at Pollock lol I'd hate for runners not to see me or a tree fall on my head (as is the normal to having falling logs during races)

It's filed under "fairbs" on eightlane. Other articles with that tag include one on Mo Farah being unable to complete an out and back training run because he forgot to turn around, and Galen Rupp collapsing during training because he didn't hear Salazar telling him to keep breathing. Also Wilson Kipsang faces angry Kenyan officials after winning in Berlin and breaking their official policy to allow Farah to win every race, and US athletes are asked to stop taking drugs during the government shutdown.

LOL its an 8lane pisstake! I believed it for a second then realised :p

Saw an amazing XC taking place on Beachy Head yesterday (in the crazy stinging rain and huge winds). Proper amazing XC course. Would love to have courses like that in Surrey!
