Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Last Surrey league fixtures and really impressed that our club had 30 runners in the men's race. We fielded 32 last time out too and those two performances lifted us from 7th and facing relegation to a respectable 5th overall (9 teams in the division). We were only 1 point behind the third place club today.

Great spirit in the men's team at the moment too so hoping that this will translate into improved turnout in the women's team next season :)

Thanks Curly. Yes, the hills were cruel...unfortunately I had to walk a lot of them...lungs would not permit me to run them, or I would have paid for it. It just flags up something I need to work on!

Provisional result shows me as 32nd which is my highest position of the year (by one place but shh). Pretty happy with that overall, despite having to stop and losing about 3-4 places on the second lap. Stuff for me to work on too for next season. That's good I think as it brings new challenges :)
