Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

A fair placing that Tom in a strong race and you can take off at least 30 places if you missed the start. If all goes to plan races left are:

Oxford league
South west schools
Intercounties
Oxford league (day after sigh)
English Schools

and my god will I be glad when it's over and I can concentrate on the proper running ie track!

No worries

Just realised I am free this Sunday, I am sure I can find something to do before anyone realises I am around.

I have enjoyed the year off but plan to race again next season.

A question re spikes. For cross country is it an absolute must to get cross country spikes? Or could you get away with a middle/longer distance track spike like the Nike Rival D IV? Or would this be too much of a compromise on grip/support?

Some courses you just can't do without the long ones though obviously.

Okay so xc races to go before end of season :D

March 5th - Intercounties
March 6th - Oxford mail league @ Swindon
March 19th - English Schools

So glad to have made both intercounties and English schools finals just hope I can peak at this time and run the best i've ran before!

National XC at Alton Towers: have never seen so much mud in my life. It was hard going - and that was just the tent area!

I put a lot of effort in for not much result. Feet are still thawing out.

Judging by the amount of mud I've spent the day cleaning of my gear there can't be too much left there now.
