Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

You have to do every day for a whole month ? In which case I’m out, you can’t include walking I guess ?

That has been suggested Foxy if you want to vote for it? I'd love to attempt this but can't run at present ☹️

Sounds a good idea.

I could go for a walk & log it as running but don’t see the point in that.

Well done Looby Loo

I've finally done this myself. Not sure I've ever properly gone for it before though this month it's really helped combine with some extra base training. Nearly my highest month of the year as a result.

Thanks everyone and well done too paulcook. The secret is to be patient on the early days as it does mount up.

Also my highest mileage since early last year.

Just had a look at my progress on this for the month and found an update that I'd missed.

The game is now called 'The Sum' and there are additional options for biking and walking.

No idea when that happened but I like it:)

Is anyone actively going for the badge this month? I once tried 'Run the sum' and quickly realised I was going to fall apart if I continued for the whole month. Currently on track with 'Walk the sum', though the crunch point is going to come on days where I need to walk 5 or 6 miles and also want to get a run in. Will see how it goes, but the run will likely win out if I have to choose between the two.

About This Thread

1) Add the digits of the date together e.g 18th = 1+8 = 9km, 20th = 2+0 = 2km.

2) Run that distance on the relevant date to colour it in.

3) Complete the whole month to get a badge.
