On a hot and humid day, a wonderful 7.3 mile jaunt into and out of the valley.

Nearly 4 a wee bit further doon the way. Fab run, legs were a bit stiff at the start but loosened off nicely early on. Tough on the 1 mile hill but loved it (as always)

6 miles. Bliddy hard work - rain washing sweat in my eyes so I only saw about 4 miles of it!

Very pleased with my time, considering I have taken a few days 'off'.
If I had known I was so close to my P.B. I would have ran faster

It was very wet, very scary and very thundery... got caught in a thunderstorm with scary lightning going off all around me, on a narrow countrylane where I was the highest point! It was supposed to be a temporun but it got a bit too fast as I legged it for a friends house a km away. Then a car came the other way so I stopped it and hitched a ride back home. Sat out the storm, then went out again to finish the session, but again a bit messy, as I had to do a warmup km again and had lost track of how much I had done at racepace and then the tempo bit was a bit fast, and the cooldown was too fast too... or maybe I am just getting fast
