Really enjoyed it. Only nearly killed 2 people this time. Mr LF (thought he might like an ickle off road trail but he's a treadie and gym merchant who threatens to run one day), and the old guy walking his dog who stepped in front of me suddenly. 7.2 miles. Oh, and the neighbour came out to giggle cos my OH "beat me by half an hour" - I added on and did three miles more!!!!

Had to laugh at Mud Lark's escapade
My training session was a bit disappointing, 5 X mile reps but couldn't hold an even pace, legs were fatigued form 5K yesterday. Should have expected less of myself today, live and learn...

Another in a string of incredible beautiful days...sunny and warm...cloudless sky...perfect. I did an effortles 5.25 miles along the canal, from Independence to Brecksville. Stopped at the Brecksville station for a drink of water at teh fountain. The run was so fluid and serene, I felt like I wasn't running at all, but still manages a 6:50 pace.

Ha...just reread my post and I agree with you, sounds like I'm bragging. That is wrong. Since my experience with a broken foot earlier this year, I am so appreciative of every day that I can run without pain. Sometimes my 'How was your run today?" get a bit carried away with that feeling. I'll tune it down a few notches.

Ultra Kazzaaaaah!!
Fairly slow and sedate five miles. No garmin so no panicking about pace - just let myself go with the flow. First attempt at wearing the butchered shoes (attempt to stop the rubbing around the bunions and hence stop the blisters). Apart from feeling a real numpty with bits of my foot sticking out of my shoe - and oh why did I put my yellow socks on? - it was lovely to not feel anything rubbing. Small amount of new fluid in both blisters but they certainly weren't painful. Not sure I can bring myself to chop hols in new trainers so may have to look at other ways of dealing with this but if I can at least let my feet heal it'll be progress.
