Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Nice work on the intervals Mark.

Another beautiful day here in Cleveland USA. I did a nice steady 7.3 miles down into the valley, along the tow path, then back out of the valley, with a good mix of fartlek.

Longish run today without the Ipod - very liberating. Relaxed pace, enjoyed every minute, took in the countryside and still ended up at a reasonable pace.

3.10 miles done. Very warm but enjoyed it. Saw loads off other runners but not one so much as gave me a nod.

Bloody hard work! 12 x 500m (with 100m walk recovery after each) with warm-up and warm-down run...totalled just over 5m. I did an exact 6 min mile! :)

Nightmare...been eating cr@p tonight (crisps and chocolate) because I skipped lunch when playing 5-a-side. Really struggled when I attempted to up my pace in the last mile and had to stop a couple of times.

I certainly won't be eating junk food again, I've felt rubbish all night!

Tried to go with the pace over 5K, but no speed in my legs - hardly surprising as I'm only "winter training" still. Fartleked from 2K and just crept under 17 mins. Pleasantly surprised; some speed work is going to decimate that.
