Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

It started to drizzle tonight during my 4 mile recovery run, the first rain in quite a while. Somewhat refreshing, feel very cleansed.

Grrrrrreat! :-)

Very warm, very humid, very sweaty & very hilly - loved it :-) What should have been a 3 mile run turned out to be nrealy 4 miles if fartleks, some of which were really quite fast but it felt fantastic. No knee pain either - bonus! :-)

LS - still a decent time for a 5K, especially given the goat herding territory ;-)

a strange day

I turned up for my first run of the day right place WRONG DAY!!!!!!!!
Had a sleep in the car and thought I'd do my intervals HARD WORK as I had no blood flow but I got away with it
Run with Lorrain, nice easy pace but WARM then 3 miles straight into a headwind!!!!
Finished off with an 8km pace raiser tempo run - RESULT a great way to end the day

B.B.
Hill intervals - took a short stretch (about 180m) on a steepish hill near me and did 9 hard reps with a light jog back down eachtime. Times 40,41,40,41,40,40,40,39,39, with HR up to 190 (about 95% WHR) at he end of the last few.

Total run almost 6m. First speedwork since my marathons in April, and it feeeeeeeels GREAT
:-)
