Glad you managed to get out WR.
My run was Ok, only one problem I am on call and thought that everything would be ok, OH cycled with mobile phone while I ran and I had 4 calls to deal with on my 14 mile run, was feeling a bit p****d off with it by the time I got back, very tired now as this was the longest distance I have ever done and longest time as well.

Well done WR and LL. It's always a good achievement to do your longest run, LL.

Oh sausages - any left over?
LL, I'm sure you'll be fine. Not everybody can stick exactly to the schedule anyway, and the fact that you did run 14 miles today, no matter how hard it was, means that you are well on the way. The first time I trained for a marathon, I always felt knackered after the long run, but was still able to go two miles further the next time before feeling knackered again. Fortunately I trained with a group that stopped me from running too fast. I always felt that we shouldn't be having rest breaks on the long runs, but we did and it did me no harm.

Lovely run this morning.
Only 3 miles at recovery pace and felt great in the sunshine.
Can't believe that just over halfway through the month, July is already my 3rd highest mileage month of the year so far. Just shows how much training I missed earlier in the year. Also finally managed to move up to page 5 on the training league.
